Baltik’s Bagel
a story 600 years in the making
Sometime in the 15th century, deep in the Lithuanian Commonwealth, some enterprising Lithuanian boiled a ring of dough, and then baked it. Thus unto the world the BAGEL WAS BORN!*
It wouldn’t be until the early 1900’s in New York that the Bagel would meet its forever soulmate, cream cheese.
In 2024, after stretches as a Michelin-level Chef, Investment Banker, and Tech executive, Yero Rudzinskas - himself an enterprising Lithuanian - would open Baltik’s Bagel, bringing kettle-boiled bagels, a chef driven approach (and those softies!) to the people of the Southside of Richmond, VA.
*This could’ve happened in Poland, or Austria as well, historians disagree, but we’re pretty sure it was Lithuania :)
Our Values
Baltik’s Bagel is guided by four simple core values:
Offer tremendous value to our guests
Keep our promises, expect everyone else to
Take care of our people, expect excellence
Always a great guest experience, always
If we ever fall short of our core values, please inform us right away and we’ll do whatever we can to make it right.

Absolutely. Might take a bit longer, and with bagels this fresh, we don't think you need to, but we want you to love your bagel.
Unfortunately we cannot toast bagels for catering orders or wholesale orders.

Baltik's Bagel is committed to being the best job anyone has ever had. We want each of our employees to know they will always have at least one weekend day off per week. We love that our team gets to spend Sunday with their families (even if their family is a couple of cats :)

Yup, they're a bit pricier, but we've got you covered!
